Dragging partners, children and colleagues who don't normally venture out on Box Rocks weekends out for the first time was mostly fun. We stayed at Woodland, the Glasbury Outdoor Activities Centre. Arriving on Friday night we put the kids to bed before catching up over a few beers. The next morning we set out on a windy and chilly ramble around The Begwyns (415), tiring out the children and many of the adults.
The next morning the weather was atrocious but a small and determined group of adults and children (Eckersley, Evans and White families) summitted Hay Bluff (685) against strong winds and relentless rain.
